Job Title: Plant Head - Pharma Manufacturing
Job Summary: The Plant Head will oversee all daily operations of the plant, including production, manufacturing, and adherence to policies and procedures. The role focuses on maximizing stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity, with an emphasis on cost and resource optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
- Oversee manufacturing, planning, and operations management in a regulatory work environment with exposure to all dosage forms.
- Enhance production capacity and flexibility while maintaining quality standards and eliminating unnecessary costs.
- Manage production optimization, resource management, and quality and regulatory domains.
- Implement strategic initiatives, providing clear direction and focus to the team.
- Monitor operations, triggering corrective actions with timelines to achieve optimization.
- Build and maintain a trusting relationship with the workgroup; recruit, manage, and develop plant staff.
- Ensure commitment to plant and people safety.
- Develop systems and processes to track and optimize productivity, standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
- Liaise with local authorities to address and resolve issues effectively.
