Hire permanent staff in Amman and across Jordan. We recruit for Jordanian employers who need people who stay: executives, engineers, healthcare, finance, and operations staff, sourced locally and regionally where the domestic pool is thin. Tell us the role and the salary band, and we return a shortlist.

A Jordan recruitment agency finds and screens candidates for Jordanian employers, then manages hiring through to a signed offer and, where the hire comes from outside the country, through work permit approval.
Jordan’s hiring market has features that shape every search. The domestic graduate pool is large and well-educated, particularly in engineering, IT and healthcare, but senior specialist experience is thinner because many experienced Jordanians work in the Gulf. That creates a specific pattern: strong availability at mid-level, real scarcity at senior level, and a live possibility of attracting Jordanian professionals back from Saudi Arabia, the UAE or Qatar.
Amman concentrates most corporate employment, while Aqaba, Irbid and Zarqa have distinct industrial and logistics labour markets with their own constraints.
Alliance places permanent employees only. We do not supply temporary staff, labour hire, contractors, or project-duration workers.
For hiring elsewhere in the region, see our Saudi Arabia and UAE practices.
Most agencies serving Jordan search Amman and stop there. For senior roles that misses the largest available pool, which is experienced Jordanians currently working in the Gulf who would return for the right position. We search both, and we tell you in week one which route your salary band actually supports. That conversation usually changes the brief.
What It Costs:
Our fee is a percentage of the hire’s first-year salary, agreed before the search begins and payable when they start. No retainer for standard permanent placements. Searches involving return-from-Gulf candidates or regional relocation sit at the higher end, because the engagement continues past the offer.
How Long It Takes:
Domestic Jordanian hires: shortlist in 10 to 15 working days, offer typically within 4 to 6 weeks. Candidates returning from the Gulf follow the same shortlist timeline but have notice periods of 1 to 3 months. Non-Jordanian hires depend on work permit processing, which adds materially to the start date.
Confidential senior mandates across Amman’s corporate, banking, healthcare and technology sectors. Direct approach rather than advertising, run to the same method as our executive search practice globally.
You can call or message us on WhatsApp and reach a recruiter. For most Jordanian employers that is the expected way to start, and we do not put a form in front of it.
A large pool of experienced Jordanian professionals works in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait. For senior roles they are frequently your strongest candidates, and reaching them requires recruiting in those markets, which we already do.
We tell you how many people in Jordan realistically match your requirements at your budget, and where the honest answer is very few, what the alternatives cost.
We recruit across Jordan, including the Aqaba special economic zone, Irbid’s industrial and academic employers, and Zarqa’s manufacturing base.
Every hire joins your payroll as a permanent employee. We do not supply contractors, labour hire, temporary staff or project-duration workers.
By phone or WhatsApp, whichever you prefer. We establish the role, salary band, location, and whether the position could attract a Jordanian professional currently working in the Gulf.
We map how many qualified people are realistically available in Jordan at your number, and what the return-from-Gulf pool looks like at the same level.
Direct approach across Amman and Jordan, extending into Gulf markets for senior roles. Screening, qualification verification and reference checks. Three to five candidates with assessment notes.
We coordinate scheduling, including video interviews for candidates currently based in the Gulf, and manage candidate communication throughout.
We manage the offer and stay engaged through notice. Candidates returning from the Gulf carry longer notice periods and more counter-offer risk, so this phase gets active management rather than a handover.
We stay involved after the candidate joins to support a smooth transition into your team, role and working environment. If the placement does not work out within the agreed replacement period, we support the replacement process so you can maintain continuity without restarting the recruitment process.
Send us the role, salary range and target start date. We’ll assess the market and identify qualified candidates you can interview.
Jordan’s strongest export services sector. Developers, engineering managers and technical leadership, with real competition from regional employers.
Jordan is a regional medical tourism hub. Clinical, nursing and health administration roles across Amman’s private hospital sector.
Amman’s banking, insurance and finance sector, where regulatory experience narrows the pool.
Pharmaceutical manufacturing, garments and light industry, concentrated around Zarqa and the industrial zones.
Aqaba port operations and the transit corridors serving Iraq and the wider region.
Infrastructure, water, energy and building programmes, recruited on permanent terms.
Universities, schools and vocational providers, concentrated in Amman and Irbid.
The capital and the concentration of corporate, banking, technology and healthcare employment.
The special economic zone and port, with a labour market distinct from Amman and its own supply constraints.
The classic Jordan pattern. The experienced version of your candidate is working in Riyadh or Dubai, and reaching them is a different search.
Amman’s business community is small enough that an open search becomes known quickly. The incumbent is still in post.
Several hires at once, in a market where you have no employer brand and no local network.
Your candidates have an offer from Saudi Arabia on the table. Winning them requires something specific beyond salary, and working out what that is is part of the search.
Usually a sign the Amman pool is exhausted at your specification, which is a supply problem rather than an agency problem.
These are separate labour markets. Treating Jordan as one talent pool is the most common error we are asked to repair.
We Recruit in the Gulf, Which Is Where Your Senior Jordanians Are:
Our Middle East practice covers Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. Reaching return-from-Gulf candidates is not a special project for us.
Executive Search Depth, Not Just Volume Recruitment:
Confidential senior mandates run with blind candidate briefing until you choose to disclose your identity.
Reachable the Way Jordanian Employers Actually Work:
Phone and WhatsApp, with a named recruiter, rather than a form and a 48-hour wait.
16+ Years and 15,000+ Placements Across 36+ Countries:
When Jordan cannot supply a role, the regional and international search is infrastructure we already have rather than a promise.
Permanent Placement Only, So No Divided Incentive:
Agencies running labour hire alongside permanent placement have a reason to keep you on temporary staff. We do not offer it.
We Say When the Role Cannot Be Filled at Your Budget:
Hearing in week one that your salary band cannot compete with a Gulf offer is worth more than a search that runs quietly for four months.
Jordan’s defining recruitment feature is not scarcity; it is distribution. The country produces excellent engineers, developers, and clinicians in volume. What it does not always retain is the version of those people with fifteen years of experience, because that version frequently took an offer in Riyadh, Dubai, or Doha. Any agency that searches only inside Jordan for a senior role is searching the smaller half of the market.
That is the specific thing we do differently, and it is not a claim about effort. We recruit in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain as ongoing practices. The Jordanian finance director you want is already in one of our markets, and bringing them home is a conversation we are positioned to have.
We had several vacancies to fill across our Jordan operations and were looking for candidates with specific industry experience. Alliance took the time to understand each role and gave us a focused shortlist instead of sending large numbers of CVs. The process was well organised, and we were able to move from interviews to offers without unnecessary delays.
We needed to recruit experienced IT professionals for a growing project and the local applicant pool was quite limited. Alliance expanded the search beyond Jordan and introduced candidates who matched the technical requirements. Their screening process saved our team a lot of time, and communication remained clear throughout the hiring process.
Our company was hiring for a senior management position where confidentiality and candidate quality were both important. Alliance handled the search discreetly, challenged our requirements where necessary and introduced relevant senior professionals. We appreciated having one recruitment partner managing the process from the initial search through the offer stage.
