Roles & Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Generate new business through contractors, EPC companies, government departments, road authorities, dealers/distributors, infrastructure companies, consultants, and applicators. Develop and maintain a strong territory-wise customer database. Generate enquiries, submit quotations, follow up, negotiate, and convert opportunities into orders. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with focus on both new and repeat business. Project & Market Tracking Identify ongoing and upcoming road and infrastructure projects. Maintain project-wise information including client, contractor, location, quantity, product requirements, project value, expected order date, and status. Conduct regular project visits and provide updates to the Head Office. Monitor competitor pricing, activities, and market trends. Customer Management Maintain regular communication and planned visits with existing customers. Build relationships with decision-makers and key project personnel. Coordinate with the Head Office for technical and commercial support. Handle customer concerns and escalate complaints promptly. Maintain records of meetings, discussions, and commitments. Reporting & Performance Management Submit a Daily Sales Activity Report (DSR) covering visits, persons met, discussions, requirements, expected order value, follow-up dates, and opportunity status. Update all leads and projects in the company CRM/MIS/ERP/Google Sheets. Ensure no business opportunity remains outside the reporting system. Attend scheduled online sales review meetings with the Ranchi Head Office. Maintain a minimum 3X sales pipeline against the assigned target, wherever applicable. Prepare monthly sales plans and track Target vs. Achievement on a weekly basis. Maintain visibility across the complete sales funnel: Lead → Enquiry → Quotation → Negotiation → Order → Dispatch → Collection. Collection & Market Intelligence Follow up with customers for outstanding payments as directed by Accounts/Head Office. Coordinate with Accounts regarding customer-wise outstanding payments. Monitor competitor pricing, products, activities, tenders, new projects, and market demand. Share relevant market intelligence and identify new revenue opportunities.
