Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the farm, focusing on onion and potato crops.
- Develop and implement farming strategies to optimize yield and quality.
- Manage planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting processes.
- Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease control measures.
- Maintain farm equipment and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and manage farm budgets and financial records.
- Hire, train, and supervise farm workers.
- Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Liaise with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing onion and potato crops.
- Strong knowledge of modern farming techniques and machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Any nationality is welcome, but Indian candidates are preferred.
