Key Responsibilities
Household Operations Management
- Oversee daily household operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for cleaning, maintenance, and special projects.
Staff Management
- Supervise and manage household staff, including department heads (Chief of Security, Head of Household Services, Family Care Manager).
- Conduct regular meetings with department heads for clear communication and coordination.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, ensuring all roles are filled with competent individuals.
- Implement and oversee staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage.
Budget and Resource Management
- Manage the household budget, including overseeing purchases and managing expenses.
- Ensure the household is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, or special services.
Event Planning and Coordination
- Plan and oversee events or gatherings, coordinating with event planners, caterers, and other vendors.
- Ensure staff are briefed and prepared for events, including setup, service, and cleanup.
Security and Safety Management
- Work with the Chief of Security to ensure safety and security of the family and household.
- Oversee the implementation of security protocols and ensure staff are trained in emergency procedures.
Household Maintenance
- Oversee maintenance of the property, including facilities, gardens, and amenities.
- Ensure household equipment is in good working order and arrange for repairs or replacements.
Family Liaison
- Act as the primary contact between household staff and the family, ensuring family needs and preferences are met.
- Handle special requests from family members promptly.
Confidentiality and Discretion
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding the family’s private matters.
- Ensure staff adhere to strict confidentiality protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years managing large households, estates, or high-end resorts with a proven track record.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in household management software or related tools.
Working Conditions
- Residence: Live-in position at the family’s residence in Shamshabad, Jalpally.
- Schedule: Flexible, with availability required on weekends, holidays, and as needed for family events or emergencies.
Compensation
- Salary: ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience.
- Benefits: On-site accommodation, health insurance, paid time off, and other benefits as per company policy.
