Detailed Work Profile:

The Endocrinologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders of the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other hormonal imbalances. The role involves providing patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings, performing relevant procedures, and supervising laboratory investigations. Additional duties include contributing to institutional growth through training and education in a professional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat endocrine system diseases such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic disorders.
• Perform and interpret procedures and laboratory investigations related to endocrinology.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Conduct patient education sessions on managing chronic endocrine conditions.
• Supervise junior medical staff or trainees if applicable.
• Stay updated with advancements in endocrinology and integrate them into practice.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a government institution, teaching hospital, or private hospital with a recognized DNB program.

Qualifications:

• MS/DM/MCH/DNB in Endocrinology or related specialty, as applicable to the role.

Other Criteria:

• Candidates of Indian origin are preferred, with a preference for South Indian professionals.

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 QAR per month.
• Incentives: Additional incentives for procedures and lab investigations.
• Take-home Salary: Approximately 80,000 - 85,000 QAR per month.

Contract Duration:

• Minimum of 2 years.
