Job Responsibilities

Counseling Services

1. Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students.
2. Address academic, personal, social, and emotional concerns.
3. Develop and implement counseling plans tailored to students' needs.

Student Support

1. Identify and support students with special needs or at-risk behaviors.
2. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure student success.
3. Promote a safe and inclusive school environment.

Guidance and Advisory

1. Design and deliver guidance programs (e.g., study skills, career exploration).
2. Provide academic advising and support with course selections.
3. Organize workshops and seminars on mental health, wellness, and life skills.

Assessment and Referral

1. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
2. Refer students to external resources (e.g., therapy, support groups) when necessary.
3. Maintain accurate records and documentation of counseling sessions.

Communication and Collaboration

1. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators about student progress.
2. Participate in student support teams and school meetings.
3. Liaise with external agencies such as mental health services for additional support.

Other Responsibilities

1. Maintain and develop counseling resources and materials.
2. Participate in professional development programs.
3. Support school-wide initiatives like bullying prevention and wellness campaigns.
