Laboratory Chemist
Key Responsibilities:
- Laboratory Analysis: Perform chemical analysis using HPLC, GC, and other laboratory equipment and techniques to ensure the quality of products and materials.
- QA and QC: Set up and maintain QA processes to ensure adherence to standards, and develop effective QC systems for consistent product quality.
- Documentation & Reporting: Record and interpret data accurately, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Method Development: Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods to improve the efficiency and accuracy of laboratory tests.
- Training: Provide training and support to lab technicians and junior staff on the proper use of lab equipment and methodologies.
- Compliance: Ensure all laboratory activities comply with regulatory and safety standards, and help prepare for audits or inspections.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment and testing methods to maintain uninterrupted lab operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum [X] years of hands-on experience in a laboratory environment, with a strong focus on HPLC, GC, and other modern analytical techniques.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in HPLC, GC, and other laboratory instruments and methods.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC systems and their implementation.
