Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic vegetarian dishes with a specialization in Gujarati cuisine.
- Plan and execute daily meal menus according to family preferences and dietary requirements.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation, hygiene, and presentation.
- Maintain and manage kitchen inventory, including sourcing and stocking ingredients.
- Adhere to nutritional standards and ensure food quality meets expectations.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients to avoid spoilage.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Handle occasional food preparation for family gatherings or small events.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduation (Culinary degree preferred but not mandatory if skillfully experienced).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a professional chef specializing in vegetarian Gujarati cuisine.
Key Competencies
- Expertise in preparing authentic Gujarati dishes and other vegetarian delicacies.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet family expectations.
