SURVEYOR

Key Roles & Responsibilities ● Conduct topographic, layout, and control surveys using Total Station, DGPS, and levelling instruments. ● Establish, protect, and maintain Temporary Benchmarks (TBM) and grid/control points referenced to a stable datum. ● Provide accurate setting-out data for foundations, structures, roads and other works ahead of execution. ● Carry out periodic as-built surveys and prepare corresponding survey reports and drawings for client/PMC submission. ● Maintain instrument calibration records and ensure all survey equipment is verified before critical setting- out activities. ● Coordinate closely with the Civil Engineering team to verify layout accuracy before and during construction. ● Support quantity surveys required for billing and reconciliation purposes. ● Maintain systematic field books and digital survey records for audit and reference. Technical Competencies ● Proficiency with Total Station and DGPS survey equipment and standard levelling instruments (auto level/dumpy level). ● Working knowledge of traverse computation, closing-error tolerances, and benchmark correlation. ● Familiarity with AutoCAD / AutoCAD Civil 3D for survey drawing preparation (preferred). ● Understanding of coordinate systems and reconciliation between GPS-based and conventional survey data.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ● Survey accuracy — closing error within permissible tolerance on all traverses. ● Turnaround time for setting-out data requested by the execution team. ● Error-free setting out (rework arising from survey error). ● Timeliness of as-built survey submissions.
