1. Production & Process Control • Supervise and monitor daily production activities for carbon-coated urea and other specialty coated urea grades to meet planned volume targets. • Control key process variables—including prill/granule feed rates, binder matrix temperature, coating agent dosing, atomization pressure, and drying/curing cycles. • Ensure consistent coating uniformity, particle adherence, color consistency, and anti- caking performance. 2. Process Troubleshooting & Optimization • Identify, diagnose, and resolve process deviations, equipment failures, or product irregularities in real time. • Analyze process data to optimize consumption ratios of raw materials, energy, and coating agents. • Support plant management in process enhancement initiatives, yield improvement projects, and debottlenecking activities. 3. Quality Assurance & EHS Compliance • Partner with QA/QC to monitor physical hardness, moisture content, active coating percentages, and nutrient integrity against product specifications. • Enforce compliance with operational SOPs, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, and emergency protocols. • Conduct regular safety walkthroughs, participate in risk assessments, and maintain high standards of workplace housekeeping. 4. Operations Coordination & Team Leadership • Direct and train shift supervisors, technicians, and machine operators to ensure safe, compliant operational practices. • Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive, corrective, and turnaround maintenance activities to minimize unplanned downtime. • Work with Supply Chain and Warehousing to align raw material feed readiness with finished product bagging schedules.
