Visit schools, booksellers, distributors, dealers, and educational institutions regularly within the assigned territory. Present and promote the company’s textbooks, supplementary books, workbooks, reference books, and other educational products. Generate new business by identifying and approaching potential schools, dealers, and distributors. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure regular follow-up. Achieve assigned Annual sales targets. Collect orders from customers and coordinate with the office, warehouse, and dispatch team for timely delivery. Conduct product presentations and provide sample/specimen books to schools and teachers where required. Meet school principals, teachers, coordinators, purchase departments, and other decision- makers to promote the company’s publications. Follow up on quotations, orders, pending supplies, and customer requirements. Monitor outstanding payments and support the company in timely payment collection. Develop and maintain an updated database of schools, dealers, distributors, and other customers in the assigned territory. Identify market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences, and new publishing opportunities. Collect feedback from teachers, schools, booksellers, and distributors and share it with the management/editorial team. Inform management about competitors’ books, pricing, discounts, schemes, and promotional activities. Participate in book fairs, exhibitions, school events, workshops, and promotional activities organised by the company. Prepare and submit daily/weekly tour plans, visit reports, sales reports, expense reports, and market feedback. Plan field visits efficiently to ensure maximum coverage of the assigned sales territory. Maintain proper records of samples, catalogues, promotional materials, customer orders, and collections. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
