Project Engineer – MEP / HSD / Fire Protection Projects

Plan, coordinate and execute MEP, HSD/Fuel System, Fire Protection and electromechanical projects from mobilization to completion. • Manage day-to-day project/site activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams for smooth project execution. • Review approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, P&ID;, shop drawings and project documents. • Coordinate with the engineering team for technical clarifications, drawings and site requirements. • Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of project systems. • Monitor manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for site activities. • Plan daily and weekly site activities and monitor progress against the project schedule. • Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure quality and timely completion of work. • Identify site issues, technical challenges and delays and coordinate with management for timely resolution. • Prepare and maintain project documentation, daily progress reports, inspection requests, checklists and site records. • Coordinate inspections with clients and consultants and close technical/site observations. • Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and project specifications. • Assist in preparation and submission of as-built drawings, testing and commissioning reports, O&M; documents and project handover documents. • Monitor project material requirements and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability at site. • Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates to management. • Ensure successful project completion, testing, commissioning and handover to the client

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in MEP / Fire Protection / HSD Fuel Systems / Industrial Projects / Electromechanical Projects. • Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred. • Strong experience in site execution and project management. • Good understanding of engineering drawings, BOQ, specifications and project documentation. • Experience in installation, testing and commissioning of MEP / Fire Protection / HSD systems will be preferred. • Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, EPC contractors and subcontractors. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Good communication and team-management skills. • Ability to independently manage site activities and coordinate multiple stakeholders. • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
