Sales representative

The duties often fall into three main categories: Sales/Lead Generation, Customer Consultation, and Record Keeping/Compliance. 1. Sales & Lead Generation (Outbound Focus): * Conducting outbound telephonic outreach to potential and existing customers to promote various loan products (e.g., personal loans, home loans, business loans). * Prospecting and converting "suspects" (potential leads) into "prospects" (qualified leads) by establishing initial contact. * Meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls made, leads generated, appointments set, or loan applications initiated. * Cross-selling other bank products or services when appropriate. 2. Customer Consultation & Support (Inbound/Outbound): * Providing clear and detailed information about loan products, including interest rates, eligibility criteria, repayment plans, and associated fees. * Evaluating initial customer needs by asking probing questions to understand their financial requirements. * Handling objections from potential customers professionally and persuading them toward the product. * Scheduling appointments for Credit Managers or Sales Officers for in-person discussions or document collection. * Addressing and resolving preliminary customer queries and issues promptly. 3. Documentation & Compliance (If Collection Focused): * Assisting clients in understanding and preparing the necessary documentation for loan applications. * Making awareness calls regarding loan repayment and following up with customers about overdue payments (this function sometimes leads to a "Tele Collection" role). * Ensuring all conversations adhere to compliance standards and company policies.
