Governess for a 4-Year-Old Child
Job description
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as a Governess, Nanny, Childcare Professional, or Early Childhood Educator.
Previous experience caring for and supporting the development of young children, preferably aged 3–5 years.
Knowledge of early childhood development, age-appropriate learning methods, and childcare practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, caring, trustworthy, responsible, and well-organized.
Ability to engage children in educational, creative, and recreational activities.
Strong understanding of child safety, hygiene, and basic first aid.
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality within a private household.
What you will do
- Provide attentive, nurturing, and responsible care for a 4-year-old child.
- Support the child's daily routine, including meals, personal hygiene, rest, and age-appropriate activities.
- Plan and engage the child in educational and recreational activities to support early childhood development.
- Assist with basic learning, including alphabets, numbers, reading, writing, storytelling, and creative activities.
- Encourage good manners, discipline, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Organize indoor and outdoor activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times.
- Monitor the child's developmental progress and communicate observations to the parents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the child's belongings, play area, and study materials.
- Coordinate with parents regarding the child's routine, progress, and specific requirements.
