A Sharjah recruitment agency finds and screens candidates for employers in the emirate, then manages hiring through to a signed offer and, for candidates coming from outside the UAE, through visa and labour card issuance.
Sharjah’s hiring market is distinct from Dubai’s in ways that matter commercially. The employer base leans toward manufacturing, logistics, education and healthcare rather than finance and professional services. Salary bands sit below Dubai’s for comparable roles, which changes who will accept an offer. And a large share of the workforce lives in Sharjah while working in Dubai, or the reverse, so the commute question shapes retention more than it does elsewhere in the UAE.
The single biggest variable on timeline is whether a candidate is already in the UAE on a transferable visa. A transfer takes weeks. An overseas hire takes months. Any shortlist that does not say which is which is missing the most important fact on it.
Alliance places permanent employees only. We do not provide labour supply, manpower supply, or contract staffing.
For Dubai and the wider Emirates, see our Dubai and UAE practices.
Most agencies serving the Northern Emirates send you Dubai candidates and hope. Dubai candidates routinely decline Sharjah salary bands, and the ones who accept often leave within a year when a Dubai offer arrives. We screen for whether someone will actually take a Sharjah package and stay in it, which is a different question from whether they can do the job.
What It Costs:
Our fee is a percentage of the hire’s first-year salary, agreed before the search begins and payable when they join. No retainer for standard permanent placements. Overseas hires requiring visa coordination sit at the higher end, because the engagement continues past the offer.
How Long It Takes:
Candidates already in the UAE on transferable visas: shortlist in 10 to 15 working days, offer typically within 3 to 5 weeks, then visa transfer. Overseas hires follow the same shortlist timeline, but entry permit, medical, Emirates ID, and labour card processing commonly add 6 to 12 weeks.
You know before interviewing who is already in the UAE and who needs full processing. It determines your start date more than anything else and almost no shortlist includes it.
We screen against your actual package and location, because a candidate who will not accept a Sharjah salary or the commute is not a candidate regardless of their CV.
Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Employers outside Dubai are consistently underserved by agencies that treat the UAE as one market.
SAIF Zone, Hamriyah Free Zone and Sharjah Publishing City operate under different employment arrangements from mainland Sharjah. We scope which applies before sourcing.
We source and screen candidates in India, the Philippines, Pakistan and Nepal directly, rather than through sub-agents.
Every hire joins your payroll as a permanent employee on your visa. We do not provide labour supply, manpower supply, contract staffing or workers on our own visa under any arrangement.
We establish the role, the package, the location within Sharjah, whether you are a free zone or mainland employer, and whether you can sponsor an overseas hire. That last answer splits your candidate pool and your timeline in two.
We tell you what your package realistically attracts in Sharjah, and what it would attract in Dubai, because the gap is where most Sharjah searches quietly fail.
Direct sourcing across the UAE and, where needed, in the relevant overseas markets. Screening on role fit, package acceptance and commute viability. Three to five candidates, each with current visa status stated.
We coordinate scheduling, including video interviews for overseas candidates, and manage candidate communication throughout.
For in-country candidates, we manage the offer and visa transfer. For overseas hires, we coordinate the entry permit, medical, Emirates ID, and labour card with your PRO.
The placement is not complete on the start date. We check in with you and the candidate at 30, 60, and 90 days, and if the placement does not hold within the guarantee period, we re-run the search at no additional fee. In the Northern Emirates, most early attrition is a package or commute problem surfacing late, and these check-ins catch it.
Tell us the role, salary range and hiring timeline. We’ll assess the talent market and build your shortlist.
Sharjah’s largest employer base. Production, maintenance, quality and plant management across the industrial areas.
Operations, transport and warehouse management, including Khalid Port and Hamriyah Port activity.
Clinical, nursing and health administration roles across Sharjah’s private hospitals and clinics, where licensing governs timelines.
Teaching and school leadership across Sharjah’s large private school sector and its universities.
Project, site and technical roles across building and infrastructure work.
Finance, HR, administration and commercial roles for Sharjah-headquartered businesses.
Free zone employers with their own visa and employment arrangements, distinct from mainland hiring.
Industrial and energy-sector employers on the Hamriyah side, with a labour market of their own.
Corporate, retail, education and healthcare employment in the urban core.
The wider Northern Emirates, where agency coverage is thin, and employers are routinely underserved.
The classic Northern Emirates problem. They took the job while waiting for a Dubai offer, and the Dubai offer arrived.
Candidates already in the UAE on transferable visas can. Overseas hires cannot. Knowing which is which changes your entire shortlist.
Different visa arrangements, different expectations, and a shortlist that has not been scoped for it wastes everyone’s time.
It can, but the candidate profile that accepts it is specific.
Agency coverage outside Dubai and Sharjah is thin, and most will quietly send you Dubai candidates anyway.
Usually a sign the in-country pool is exhausted at your package, which is a supply problem rather than an agency problem.
Visa Status on Every Shortlist:
The single most useful line on a UAE shortlist, and the one almost nobody includes.
We Screen for Package Acceptance, Not Just Capability:
A candidate who will not take a Sharjah salary is not a candidate. We establish that before you interview, not after.
Northern Emirates Coverage, Not Dubai With a Sharjah Label:
We recruit into Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah as well as Sharjah.
16+ Years, 9,000+ Organisations, 36+ Countries:
When the UAE pool cannot supply, international sourcing is infrastructure we already operate. See our Middle East practice.
Source-Country Recruitment, Done Directly:
India, the Philippines, Pakistan and Nepal, sourced and screened directly rather than through sub-agents whose fee practices we cannot see.
Permanent Placement Only, So No Divided Incentive:
Agencies running labour supply alongside permanent placement have a commercial reason to keep you on supplied workers. We do not offer it.
Sharjah hiring has one failure mode that repeats endlessly and that almost no agency will name. You interview a strong candidate, they accept, and eleven months later they leave for Dubai. They were never going to stay. They took the role because they needed a visa or a bridge, and the Dubai offer was always coming. Every month of that cycle costs you the search fee, the onboarding, and the gap.
Screening for it is not complicated, but it requires asking questions that risk losing the placement: where do you live, what would you need to stay three years, what would a Dubai offer have to be before you took it. We ask them. It shrinks the shortlist and it is the difference between a hire and a rental.
We had several vacancies across our Sharjah operation and needed candidates with relevant experience rather than a large volume of CVs. Alliance understood the requirements quickly and gave us a focused shortlist. It saved our management team a lot of time and helped us move the hiring process forward.
We were expanding our technical team and needed experienced candidates who could meet the specific requirements of our projects. Alliance screened the profiles carefully and kept us updated throughout the interviews and selection process. The candidates presented were much closer to what we were looking for.
Our hiring requirement was urgent, and we needed a recruitment partner who could work quickly without compromising on candidate quality. Alliance handled the sourcing and screening efficiently and stayed involved until the candidates joined. The process was well organised and reduced the workload for our internal HR team.

No. Labour supply, where workers remain on a supplier’s visa, is a separate MOHRE-licensed service that we do not provide. Every candidate we place joins your payroll on your visa as a permanent employee.
Yes, and we state each shortlisted candidate’s visa status so you know who can transfer in weeks and who needs full processing. This is usually the deciding factor on start date.

By screening for it. We ask candidates directly what would keep them in a Sharjah role for three years and what a Dubai offer would need to be. It shrinks shortlists and it is the main cause of first-year attrition in the Northern Emirates.
If a permanent placement leaves within the agreed guarantee period, we re-run the search at no additional fee. Terms are in the placement agreement.
