Job description
Financial Controller Job Purpose:Responsible for the efforts and results of the financial team of 4 staff.Reporting to the Financial Director in regards to all financial and accountingactivities. Overseeing financial department staff in day-to-day operations. Financial Controller Job Duties:ï‚· Oversee all company accounts and investmentsï‚· Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, andfinancial forecastsï‚· Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewinginternal reportsï‚· Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountantsand financial assistantsï‚· Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles andproviding helpful feedbackï‚· Create, implement and manage systems to control the financial securityof all day-to-day operations.ï‚· Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, includingpayroll and invoicingï‚· Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, andreportedï‚· Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply withgovernment regulations and legislationï‚· Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with allregulationsï‚· Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based onresearch and data reportsï‚· Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for costreduction opportunitiesï‚· Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepanciesï‚· Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculationsï‚· Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial informationï‚· Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders,and board members. Financial Controller Skills and Qualifications:Degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field; severalyears of experience in a business or finance environment; managementexperience; leadership skills; interpersonal skills; outstanding mathematical skills; honesty; integrity; reliability; solid written and verbal communicationskills in English; high attention to detail; organisational skills; critical thinkingand problem-solving skills; research skills; analytical skills; computer
