Regional Sales Head – Windows, Sliding & Door Systems

What you will do

• Summary: 
• The Regional Sales Head will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing the regional  market, managing dealers and channel partners, and leading the sales team for the company's  Windows, Sliding and Door Systems. 
• The role requires strong knowledge of the aluminium/uPVC windows and doors industry,  including system profiles, hardware, glass, fabrication, installation, and project-based sales. 
• Key Responsibilities: 
• 1. Regional Sales & Business Development 
• • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and  annual sales targets. 
• • Identify new business opportunities across residential, commercial, institutional, and  infrastructure projects. 
• • Develop new markets, territories, dealers, architects, builders, contractors, and  fabricators. 
• • Generate enquiries and convert them into profitable orders. 
• • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and regularly review opportunities with the  management. 
• • Monitor market potential, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements. 2. Dealer & Channel Management 
• • Develop and maintain a strong network of dealers, distributors, fabricators, and  channel partners. 
• • Appoint new dealers and channel partners based on regional market potential. • Establish strong relationships with existing dealers and ensure regular business  generation. 
• • Monitor dealer performance, outstanding payments, stock movement, and order  pipeline.
• • Support dealers with product knowledge, quotations, technical information, and sales  assistance. 
• • Ensure proper implementation of company policies and commercial terms across the  region. 
• 3. Project & Institutional Sales 
• • Identify and develop relationships with architects, builders, developers, contractors,  consultants, and project management companies. 
• • Track upcoming construction and infrastructure projects in the assigned region. • Arrange product presentations, technical discussions, demonstrations, and site visits. • Coordinate with the technical/design team for project-specific requirements. • Follow up on project enquiries from initial enquiry through quotation, negotiation, order  confirmation, and execution. 
• 4. Sales Team Management 
• • Lead, manage, and motivate the regional sales team. 
• • Set individual and team sales targets. 
• • Monitor daily activities, customer visits, enquiries, quotations, conversions, and order  bookings. 
• • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews. 
• • Provide coaching and training to Sales Executives, Area Sales Managers, and Sales  Representatives. 
• • Ensure disciplined follow-up and proper reporting by the sales team. 5. Product & Technical Knowledge 
• • Maintain strong knowledge of the company's: 
• • Aluminium window systems 
• • Sliding window systems 
• • Sliding door systems 
• • Casement windows 
• • Openable doors 
• • Curtain wall/façade systems, where applicable 
• • Hardware and accessories 
• • Glass specifications 
• • Mosquito nets and related accessories 
• • Anodized/powder-coated profiles 
• • Understand fabrication, installation, measurements, and basic technical requirements. • Explain product advantages and applications to customers, dealers, architects, and  project teams.
• 6. Quotation & Commercial Management 
• • Review major quotations and commercial proposals before submission. • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial  conditions within approved company limits. 
• • Ensure healthy gross margins while achieving sales targets. 
• • Coordinate with management for special pricing and project-specific commercial  approvals. 
• • Monitor order profitability and avoid unauthorized discounts. 
• 7. Coordination with Internal Departments 
• • Coordinate closely with: 
• • Sales 
• • Marketing 
• • Estimation 
• • Design 
• • Production 
• • Procurement 
• • Inventory 
• • Quality 
• • Dispatch & Logistics 
• • Installation 
• • Accounts 
• • Ensure that customer commitments regarding price, specifications, quantity, delivery,  and installation are communicated accurately to the respective departments. 
• 8. Customer Relationship Management 
• • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and business partners. • Handle major customer complaints and coordinate internally for timely resolution. • Conduct regular customer and dealer visits. 
• • Gather market feedback and communicate customer requirements to management. • Develop key accounts and increase repeat business. 
• 9. Sales Reporting & MIS 
• • Prepare and review: 
• • Daily sales reports 
• • Weekly sales reports 
• • Monthly sales reports 
• • Sales pipeline reports 
• • Dealer performance reports 
• • Enquiry and conversion reports 
• • Project tracking reports 
• • Collection/outstanding reports 
• • Regional sales forecasts 
• • Analyse sales performance against targets and take corrective action where required.
• 10. Market Intelligence 
• • Monitor competitor products, pricing, dealer networks, schemes, and market activities. • Identify emerging market trends and customer preferences. 
• • Provide management with regular updates regarding market conditions and competitor  movements. 
• • Recommend new products, systems, territories, and business opportunities based on  market requirements. 
• Required Qualification & Experience: 
• • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related  field. 
• • 7+ years of sales experience, preferably in the Windows, Doors, Aluminium, uPVC,  Façade, Building Materials, or Construction industry. 
• • Prior experience managing a regional sales team or territory is preferred. • Strong experience in dealer/channel development and project sales. • Experience dealing with architects, builders, contractors, developers, and fabricators  will be an advantage.
