Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and system administration.
Good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DNS, and DHCP.
Knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and VLAN configuration.
Familiarity with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, or other networking devices.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Good troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
Candidate Profile
3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network support.
Ability to handle day-to-day IT operations independently.
Willingness to work at the client's location in Chennai.
Good customer service skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Good communication skill to interact with US team.
What you will do
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and enterprise applications.
- Manage Active Directory user accounts, access permissions, and Group Policy configurations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and network access points.
- Perform basic network configuration, including IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Monitor network connectivity and troubleshoot network performance issues.
- Assist with network device installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Perform network cabling, patching, and rack installation activities as required.
- Monitor network device availability and escalate issues to senior engineers.
- Support firewall connectivity and basic security-related troubleshooting.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, network documentation, and technical records.
- Coordinate with vendors and OEM support teams for technical issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets and maintain service quality.
