Job Description We are looking for a Vice President of sales to join our growing organization. The responsibilities of the VP of
sales would include driving sales activities, meeting with prospects, and designing effective sales strategies to
push the firm’s solutions and services. Oxane Partners is looking for expertise in selling into investment banks,
regional commercial banks, and private market investment firms (private credit, private equity, and asset
managers) in the United Kingdom, and European Union. Good understanding of the financial industry
landscape, specifically an understanding of the private markets and a strong established network. Excellent
solutions selling, verbal and written presentation skills, and proven negotiation skills are essential, as is the
ability to acquire and build long-term relationships with clients. Prior experience in presenting and selling to
CXOs at clients or at senior levels within the financial industry is highly desirable .
Key
Responsibilities
• Identify prospective buyers across private credit funds, investment banks, regional banks, and asset
managers
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects with a focus on revenue generation
• Responsible for all aspects of the sales process: prospecting, qualification, opportunity nurturing, and
deal closing
• Focus on assigned target accounts/segments and aim toward exceeding sales targets
• Development and execution of a sales strategy by working on target clients and creating account plans
for each opportunity
• Highlight market inputs such as product requests or enhancements to the product team
• Actively manage the CRM and ensure sales activity is reported in a timely fashion
• Identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve
sales goals
• Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting
• Reviewing customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer satisfaction
• Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships
Required
Experience/
Skill Set
• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in sales of financial technology
• Master's degree in a business-related field may be advantageous
• Experience selling complex B2B SaaS large-ticket deals (>$500k) is highly desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with deep knowledge of financial products
• Ability to work independently to drive sales targets with sales technology
• Strong presentation skills and ability to demonstrate the value -add of technology
• Knowledge of investment management in the private space is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques
• Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills
