Job Title: Endoscopy/ERCP Technician

Department: Gastroenterology

Reports to: Endoscopy Manager

Location: Dibrugarh,Assam

Summary:

The Endoscopy/ERCP Technician is responsible for providing support to the physicians and nurses in the endoscopy suite. This includes preparing the patient and equipment for procedures, assisting with the procedures, and maintaining the equipment. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in gastrotechnology or experience in gastroenterology procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the patient and equipment for procedures
• Assist with the procedures, including positioning the patient, passing instruments, and monitoring vital signs
• Maintain the equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes
• Collect and transport specimens
• Document procedures
• Stay up-to-date on the latest endoscopic procedures

Qualifications:

• Diploma in gastrotechnology or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
