Job Summary
We are looking for a chef to join our team and prepare lip-smacking dishes for our customers.
The primary responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing first-class dishes.
If you have experience with great and advanced cooking techniques, we would like to meet you!
Ultimately, the chef will be responsible for preparing and delivering a complete menu to our guests.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Be familiar with sanitation regulations
• Setting up of the kitchen with cooking utensils, equipment, cutlery etc
• Cook food in a timely manner
• Assign tasks to kitchen staffs
• Ensure the safety and hygiene of the kitchen
• Supervise cooks and offer assistance whenever needed
• Experiment with new recipes
• Ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations
• Modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a chef or cook
• Good communication skills
• Great time management skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to do multi-tasking
• Leadership skills
• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
• Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers)
