- Prepare work packages in coordination with the lead engineer.
- Monitor activity performance against planned targets.
- Estimate man-hours for the instrumentation and control engineering scope of projects.
- Execute instrumentation engineering activities within budget and defined quality standards.
- Manage design and engineering for automation, instrumentation, and telecom projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and contract scopes.
Project Management
- Review interdisciplinary documents and provide necessary instrumentation & control inputs.
- Raise technical queries as required and review all technical project documents.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors, reviewing designs and interfacing on engineering issues.
- Participate in project reviews such as HAZOP, SIL, and 3D model reviews.
- Oversee Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
- Identify and manage extra project scope during the engineering phase.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop subordinates and trainees.
- Support audits and respond to non-conformances.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for system, process, and practice improvements to enhance business processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
Networking
- Foster effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and vendors, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, systems, and procedures for delivering quality and cost-effective services.
Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment
- Ensure adherence to relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Work with HSE and Quality teams to update documentation and improve systems.
- Participate in project reviews, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Reporting
- Provide inputs for timely and accurate departmental statements and reports.

6. Qualifications, Experience, & Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SPI In tools; 3D modeling experience is an advantage.
Experience:
- At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience, with 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role, and exposure to project and contractor management.
Skills:
- Expertise in Automation, Instrumentation, and Telecom Engineering.
- Strong project management and planning skills.
- High integrity, strong decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, customer orientation, and relationship-building skills.
- IT proficiency and knowledge of relevant engineering tools.
