Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee all ecommerce operations from product sourcing to delivery, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Manage inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking; liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely product delivery.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate order processing, shipping, and delivery while minimizing errors and delays.
- Customer Service Collaboration: Work with customer service teams to quickly and efficiently resolve ecommerce-related customer issues.
- Vendor & Third-Party Relationships: Maintain and manage relationships with external vendors, carriers, and logistics partners to streamline operations.
- Platform Management: Oversee the technical aspects of the ecommerce platform, ensure it operates efficiently and securely, and coordinate with IT and development teams for troubleshooting and updates.
- Performance Analytics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, shipping speed, and customer satisfaction; use insights to optimize operational processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the ecommerce operational workflow and implement solutions that drive efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- Budget Management: Manage the operations budget, ensuring costs are controlled without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection and product safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7 to 8 years of experience in ecommerce operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.), order management systems, and logistics software.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and performance tracking.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Leadership:
- Proven experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving:
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide operational solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail:
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and operational efficiency.
