Key Responsibilities:
Regional Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy targeting the African market, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
 
Sales Cycle Leadership:
- Lead the complete sales cycle in Africa, from prospect qualification to discovery and successful deal fulfillment.
 
Industry Expertise & Consultative Selling:
- Leverage recent and relevant experience in the telecom industry, specifically in Africa, to engage with prospects through consultative sales approaches.
 - Understand clients’ business challenges and propose tailored, impactful solutions.
 
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, clients, and partners in the telecom sector.
 - Identify and close new sales opportunities within targeted telecom accounts.
 
Sales Performance:
- Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
 - Demonstrate resilience and prioritize client needs to maximize revenue opportunities.
 
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and R&D, to align sales strategies with broader organizational goals.
 
Market Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze competitor products, market trends, and activities to identify opportunities and ensure competitive positioning.
 
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team focused on achieving regional sales targets.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven and consistent track record in sales to large telecom customers, with established C-suite relationships.
 - Minimum 8 years of experience in sales within the telecom industry, with substantial exposure to the African market.
 - Demonstrated ability to engage in consultative selling and solution-based approaches.
 - Strong knowledge of the African telecom landscape, including key players, market trends, and challenges.
 - Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
 - Ability to exceed sales targets and drive team performance.
