Senior Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Analysis and Reconciliation:

   • Prepare cost comparison statements to analyze planned vs. actual expenditures.
   • Reconcile major quantities and materials to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

2. Documentation and Approvals:

   • Document scope changes and secure necessary approvals from relevant stakeholders.
   • Manage and document amendments to the project scope as required.

3. BOQ and Vendor Management:

   • Prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects.
   • Float inquiries to vendors and suppliers, negotiate, and finalize vendors and their scope of work.
   • Estimate quantities and conduct rate analysis for non-BOQ items.

4. Billing and Certifications:

   • Prepare and certify client and subcontractor bills accurately and on time.
   • Ensure billing compliance both manually and using designated billing systems or software.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in billing, quantity estimation, and cost analysis in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in preparing BOQs and cost estimation.
  • Expertise in billing systems and software.
  • Knowledge of project documentation and approval workflows.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
