We are seeking experienced MSDS (SDS) Authors with fluency in Spanish or French to support global compliance documentation. The role involves assessing product compositions, researching chemical properties, and preparing accurate and compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in alignment with international regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently assess product compositions/chemical formulations against applicable country regulations.
Research hazards and properties of chemical components to determine appropriate hazard classifications.
Prepare and author all 16 sections of SDS according to global regulations (US, Europe, China).
Select appropriate hazard assessments and authoring phrases based on findings.
Act as client-facing project lead, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of SDS authoring requirements.
Mentor junior authors on SDS authoring platforms and regulatory compliance.
Utilize and format SDS documents on client-specified authoring platforms.
Review and validate completed SDSs for accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams to drive process improvements.
Work remotely with reliable internet, laptop/desktop, and communication tools such as MS Teams.
