Job Description:

PHP WordPress Expert - Minimum 2 years relevant Experience. Graduate (B.Tech preferred but not Mandatory). Location Kolkata (South).

• Expert at Wordpress CMS.
• Must have strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS and other web development technologies.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites, plugin, theme development & customization.
• Strong knowledge of Database.
• Strong knowkedge of core PHP and custom PHP programming.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites.
• Candidate should be well versed in WordPress, Woocommerce and BuddyPress.
• Knowledge of standard plugins and widgets.
• Experience working with WordPress at code level.
• Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issue.
• Knows child themes and parent themes
• Theme installation, updates, various plugins installation & activation.

Bonus points for these desired skills:

• Payment Gateway Integration.
• Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions.
• Creation of custom post types.
• Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding standards
• Know how to convert PSD files in HTML, WordPress and expertise in HTML to WordPress theming and should be able to develop theme.
• Knowledge in WordPress security, and optimization (Google Page Speed, Caching, CDN, GZip etc).
• Database Optimization.
• Good communication skills
