Lead Facade Engineer /Architect

Job description:ï‚· Coordinating the below tasks of the technical departmentï‚· Take measurementsï‚· Creating quotationsï‚· Material breakdown.ï‚· On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair workï‚· Create Viabilityï‚· preparation of contractsï‚· Managing Contractorsï‚· Understand the implications of health and safety regulationsï‚· Previous experience with façade works is critical – structural steel, curtain wall,skylight, metal works …etc.ï‚· Site visits, assessments and projections for future workï‚· Travelling might be required at times. (expenses covered) .ï‚· Innovation in the product line. (creation of new system)ï‚· Working closely in conjunction with marketing. (going for technical meetings,Presentations, creating marketing tools)ï‚· Other duties as assigned. Skills Required for the Role:ï‚· Must have an Engineering/architectural/ Quantity Surveyor backgroundï‚· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel and word)ï‚· Must be able to produce 2d/3d drawings.ï‚· Experience and understanding of window systems and composition, roofingsolutions, partitions, curtain wall, cladding, automatic door and handrails.ï‚· Must have experience in Estimating ï‚· Experience in the aluminum and glass industry for a minimum of 5 years
