- Lead and motivate a team of designers.
- Prepare engineering deliverables for projects.
- Ensure effective execution of instrumentation engineering activities.
- Develop trainee designers and support bid estimations for man-hours.
Project Management:
- Lead detailed design and engineering activities for instrumentation, automation, and telecom projects.
- Prepare and review technical deliverables such as architecture diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, installation drawings, and MTO (Material Take Off).
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors, and review interdisciplinary documents for instrumentation input.
- Participate in project reviews, including 3D model reviews and site visits for data collection.
- Ensure project documentation is streamlined and compliant with internal standards.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity.
Networking:
- Maintain relationships with internal departments, contractors, consultants, and service providers while upholding business ethics.

- Follow departmental policies to deliver quality and cost-effective services.

- Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Collaborate with HSE and Quality departments to maintain system documentation and implement improvements.
- Participate in project reviews and ensure adherence to standards, identifying non-conformance and advising on corrective actions.

- Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate departmental reports.

7. Qualifications, Experience, & SkillsMinimum Qualifications:
- Diploma in Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or relevant field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; 3D Modelling is an advantage.
Minimum Experience:
- 8 years of relevant experience in instrumentation, automation, and telecom engineering.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Strong knowledge of preparing engineering drawings and documents in instrumentation/telecom fields.
- Proficient in IT tools and software related to design.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and team integration skills.
