Mathematics Specialist (SME)

• Provide subject matter expertise in mathematics to support the development of educational materials, including textbooks, online courses, and instructional resources.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of mathematics content.
• Review and evaluate existing mathematics curriculum materials to identify areas for improvement and update content as needed.
• Develop assessments, exercises, and activities to enhance learning outcomes and promote student engagement in mathematics.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in mathematics education, and incorporate relevant research findings into curriculum development.
• Provide training and support to educators and instructional staff on effective teaching strategies and the implementation of mathematics curriculum.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development activities to stay updated on organizational goals and initiatives.
• Collaborate with other SMEs and team members to integrate mathematics content with other subject areas and interdisciplinary projects.
• Contribute to the development of standards-aligned mathematics assessments and ensure alignment with curriculum objectives.
• Assist in the creation of educational resources, including videos, simulations, and interactive learning tools, to support mathematics instruction.
