Leader - Piping Design & Estimation

Key Responsibilities:

1. Piping Design:

   • Lead and manage the design of industrial piping systems for MEP projects.
   • Create detailed piping layouts, isometric drawings, and P&IDs.
   • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
   • Perform head calculations and pressure drop analysis for piping systems.

2. Estimation:

   • Prepare accurate cost estimates for piping design and support projects.
   • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop reliable estimation reports.
   • Coordinate with procurement and project management teams to ensure cost efficiency.

3. Project Coordination:

   • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
   • Review and optimize piping designs based on project needs and budget constraints.
   • Conduct site visits and inspections as required for design validation and support.

4. Technical Expertise:

   • Provide technical guidance and support to the design team.
   • Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and best practices related to piping design.
   • Evaluate and select suitable materials, components, and support systems for piping installations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in industrial piping design, specifically in MEP projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, PDS, or any relevant piping design tools.
• Strong understanding of head calculations, flow dynamics, and pressure drop analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
