Job Description: Service Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with parts suppliers for parts procurement to ensure timely availability.
- Oversee workshop operations by conducting daily follow-ups and status checks with the workshop engineer, ensuring smooth workflow in the morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
- Prepare estimations based on work orders received from technicians and ensure their accuracy.
- Handle customer interactions, including addressing queries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with technicians to oversee and inspect the work being performed on vehicles.
- Collect payments from customers and ensure all financial transactions are handled efficiently.
- Explain and discuss estimations with customers to obtain necessary approvals.
- Generate invoices using Autorox software and ensure accurate billing.
- Coordinate with superiors and team members to ensure seamless workflow and operational efficiency.
- Conduct test drives with technicians to verify the quality of repairs before and after the work is completed.
