Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Globacom is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with extensive experience in managing large-scale technology operations and strategic innovations. The CTO will oversee the company’s technological infrastructure, lead transformative projects, and ensure Globacom remains at the forefront of innovation in telecom, oil & gas downstream, digital payment services, or FMCG sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multinational environments and a deep understanding of relevant industries.

1. Technology Leadership:

   • Drive the technological strategy and direction of the organization to maintain competitive leadership in the market.
   • Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.
   • Identify and integrate emerging technologies to improve service delivery and create new revenue streams.

2. Infrastructure Development:

   • Oversee the development and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure technological infrastructure.
   • Ensure the reliability and performance of systems critical to business operations.

3. Innovation and Growth:

   • Foster a culture of innovation and lead R&D initiatives to design cutting-edge solutions.
   • Partner with other C-suite executives to align technological advancements with business goals.

4. Team and Stakeholder Management:

   • Build and mentor a high-performing technical team to deliver strategic goals.
   • Liaise with external vendors, regulatory bodies, and strategic partners to ensure compliance and successful collaboration.

5. Operational Oversight:

   • Optimize costs related to technology without compromising quality and innovation.
   • Implement policies for data security, IT governance, and system integrity.

6. Strategic Collaboration:

   • Act as the primary advisor to the CEO and Board on technology-related issues.
   • Collaborate across departments to align technology with commercial goals, customer experience, and operational excellence.

1. Experience:

   • At least 18+ years of professional experience with leadership roles in top-tier multinationals such as Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea, Orange Telecom, Shell, Paytm, Unilever, or equivalent.
   • Strong background in telecom, oil & gas downstream, digital payment services, or FMCG sectors.

2. Education:

   • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration from a reputed institution.
   • Relevant certifications in emerging technologies or IT governance preferred.

3. Leadership & Skills:

   • Visionary leader with a proven ability to align technology with business objectives.
   • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
   • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
