Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Drilling Consultant to join Conoil Producing in the upstream oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have over 18 years of industry experience with a proven track record in leading drilling operations for multinational or international brands. The role requires an individual with strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex drilling operations in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of drilling operations for upstream oil and gas production.
• Provide expert advice and consultation on drilling programs, technologies, and strategies to maximize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure all drilling operations adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (geology, engineering, production) to ensure seamless operations.
• Evaluate drilling performance and recommend improvements to ensure optimal reservoir recovery.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of projects.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
• Manage budgets and ensure projects are completed within scope and on time.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 years of experience in drilling operations, particularly in the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Extensive experience working with multinational brands in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Telecom, Digital Payment services, and FMCG.
• Proven track record in managing complex drilling projects and teams.
• Vibrant and dynamic leadership qualities with excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong work ethics, character, and resilience in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fully committed professional with a self-starter attitude, able to work autonomously and lead cross-functional teams.
• Age: Ideally between 45 and 58 years, though outstanding profiles slightly above 58 will be considered.
• Expatriate professionals from regions such as India, Pakistan, Africa, UAE, Oman, Eastern Europe, or nearby regions are highly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Oil & Gas (Downstream and Upstream), Telecom, Digital Payment Service Banks, FMCG (Sales and Marketing), and similar sectors.
• Experience with leading companies like Reliance Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum, Shell, Vodafone, Coca-Cola, Unilever, etc.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or related fields (Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).

Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in drilling technology and operations.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to adapt to and manage new technologies and processes in drilling.
• Proficiency in drilling software and equipment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Strong project management and budgeting skills.
