Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and monitor safety procedures, protocols, and systems in compliance with Saudi Aramco Standards.
2. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections at project sites to ensure adherence to safety standards.
3. Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for all employees and contractors.
4. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective action plans.
5. Ensure compliance with local, national, and Saudi Aramco safety regulations.
6. Collaborate with project teams to incorporate safety requirements into project planning and execution.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and ensure they are applied to all project activities.
8. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including Aramco representatives, regarding safety performance and compliance.
9. Develop and implement Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) and conduct regular drills.
10. Monitor and ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety tools at the worksite.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Certifications:
   • NEBOSH certification (Mandatory).
   • PMP certification (Preferred).
3. Experience:
   • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in safety management, specifically on Saudi Aramco projects.
   • Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and safety protocols.
4. Skills:
   • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
   • Excellent communication and training abilities.
   • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
5. Language Proficiency:
   • Proficient in English (mandatory).
   • Arabic language skills (preferred but not required).
