Deputy Construction Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and adhere to QHSE policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with ISO Management standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, and ISO 45000.
- Manage and supervise construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Schedule deliverables, estimate project costs, and review progress regularly.
- Ensure adherence to building and safety regulations onsite and offsite.
- Coordinate with construction teams and subcontractors.
- Oversee the selection of tools, materials, and equipment; maintain inventory records.
- Monitor work progress and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Anticipate potential issues and implement solutions proactively.
- Negotiate contracts, obtain necessary permits, and mitigate risks effectively.
- Uphold quality construction standards and implement proper techniques.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 10 years of experience in construction, with proven management expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and standards.
- Familiarity with construction materials, techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Competence in conflict and crisis management.
- Mental and physical fitness to handle demanding tasks and extended work hours.
