Job Title: Plant Head – Crumb Rubber Manufacturing Unit Location: Haridwar Experience: 10+ years in rubber processing, manufacturing, or a related industry Industry: Rubber Recycling, Tyre Retreading, Polymer Manufacturing

Salary: `50,000 – `80,000 per month (Depending on experience & skills) Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering; MBA (preferred)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to oversee the operations of our Crumb Rubber Manufacturing Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, ensuring efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and implementing safety measures. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and an in-depth understanding of rubber recycling processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Operations & Production Management

 Oversee the daily operations of the crumb rubber manufacturing plant.

 Plan, coordinate, and optimize production schedules to maximize efficiency.

 Ensure smooth functioning of machinery and equipment with minimal downtime.

 Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

2. Quality Control & Compliance

 Maintain high-quality standards as per industry and regulatory norms.

 Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions when necessary.

 Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

3. Cost & Resource Optimization

 Manage budgets and control operational costs to improve profitability.

 Monitor raw material procurement and inventory to prevent wastage.

 Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.

4. Team Leadership & Workforce Management

 Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and plant workers.

 Train staff on best practices, safety procedures, and operational excellence.

 Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

5. Maintenance & Equipment Management

 Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for plant machinery.

 Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate with the maintenance team.

 Implement modern technology and automation for improved efficiency.

6. Safety & Environmental Sustainability

 Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.

 Promote sustainable practices, including waste management and emissions control.

 Ensure the plant operates in an environmentally responsible manner.

Key Skills & Competencies:

✔ Strong knowledge of crumb rubber manufacturing processes ✔ Experience in plant management, production planning, and operations ✔ Understanding of machinery, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting ✔ Ability to drive cost efficiency and process optimization ✔ Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills ✔ Familiarity with industry regulations and environmental compliance ✔ Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

 Experience in rubber recycling, tyre retreading, or polymer processing is a plus

 Knowledge of ISO and environmental compliance regulations

 Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma certification (preferred)
