This is an advisory role and the candidate will be required to help us understand Oracle EBS so that we can do the rest. We are open to a full-time as well as part-time candidate. JD: Job Title - Sr. Oracle EBS developer (Functional) Brief Description: We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS developer (functional). The ideal candidate would be the subject matterexpert on Oracle EBS with 5+ yrs experience and must have strong knowledge of EBS table structures and fields. The candidatewill help a development team to build an application on top of Oracle EBS . Required Skills: 5+ years of Oracle EBS experience as a hands-on developer.Strong knowledge of EBS modules ( OP, AR, PO, AP, IN, XLA, GL ).Strong knowledge of tables, fields and joins between them and which fields contain which data.Familiarity with version R12 and above. Oracle EBS Functional Implementation:
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Oracle Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement, Manufacturing, HRMS, etc.).
- Lead functional implementation of Oracle EBS projects, including requirements gathering, process analysis, configuration, and testing.
- Provide expert-level advice and guidance on Oracle EBS modules' capabilities and functionalities.
System Configuration and Customization:
- Configure Oracle EBS modules as per business requirements and best practices.
- Identify and resolve any gaps in the standard functionality of Oracle EBS by designing customized solutions.
- Develop and manage functional specifications for reports, interfaces, and conversions.
Business Process Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize business processes related to Oracle EBS, focusing on improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Collaborate with business users to define requirements and transform them into functional solutions within the Oracle EBS platform.
- Drive continuous improvements through process re-engineering using Oracle EBS functionalities.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
- Coordinate testing of Oracle EBS solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Work closely with QA teams and business users to troubleshoot issues, address defects, and ensure the system is working as intended.
- Provide post-implementation support and ensure the system is fully functional.
