The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing fabrication operations within the production unit. This includes supervising teams, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, managing workflow, and ensuring timely project delivery. The role requires technical expertise in fabrication processes, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with structural steel or metal works.

• Oversee day-to-day fabrication activities on the shop floor.

• Manage a team of fabricators, welders, and fitters to meet production targets.

• Ensure quality control and compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate with planning, procurement, and quality departments for seamless operations.

• Maintain safety standards and ensure the use of proper PPE by team members.

• Monitor progress, inspect finished products, and suggest improvements.

• Prepare daily and weekly reports on production activities and resource utilization.

• Train and mentor junior staff and ensure productivity benchmarks are achieved.

• Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent experience.

• Specialization in fabrication or structural steel is a plus.

• Strong technical knowledge of fabrication, welding processes, and equipment.

• Excellent leadership, team management, and coordination skills.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Good understanding of quality standards and safety protocols.

• Effective communication skills in Hindi and English (both spoken and written).

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

• Proactive, disciplined, and solution-oriented attitude.
