We are seeking a highly motivated Research Analyst with expertise in equity valuation, investment analysis, and trading. The role involves supporting fundraising, restructuring, and investment activities by providing detailed market insights, financial models, and valuation-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive equity valuation using DCF, relative valuation, comparable transactions, and other models.

Execute buy and sell transactions in listed equity markets as per firm strategies and client mandates.

Collaborate with the investment team on deal structuring, pricing strategies, and transaction execution.

Track market trends, trading volumes, investor sentiment, and sector developments to guide investment decisions.

Monitor portfolio performance and deliver timely trading recommendations.

Prepare pitch books, investor presentations, and transaction memos with a strong analytical focus.

Maintain regular communication with institutional investors, brokers, and analysts to gather insights.

Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and internal compliance standards during trading activities.

Stay updated on macroeconomic and sector-specific trends across focus industries such as Healthcare, Agriculture, FMCG, Defense, and Technology.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.

CFA, CA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.

 

Required Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in equity trading, investment banking, or valuation advisory.

Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in equity valuation techniques and financial modeling.

In-depth knowledge of Indian capital markets and regulatory frameworks (SEBI).

Proficiency in MS Excel, Bloomberg, trading platforms, and financial databases.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Excellent communication and writing abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
