The Senior Marketing Manager/Trader will be responsible for driving global business development, managing trading activities, and ensuring profitability across transactions. The role requires strong experience in negotiation, deal finalization, and end-to-end trading operations in the metals and minerals sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & TradingIdentify and onboard new customers across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular engagement and understanding of material needs.
Develop a robust supplier network for ores, metals, and alloys to ensure consistent supply.
Independently negotiate, structure, and finalize purchase and sale transactions.
Manage the complete trading cycle—from inquiry, pricing, and documentation to shipment and payment realization.
Commercial & ProfitabilityTake full ownership of P&L for all handled transactions.
Analyze market trends, prices, and competitor activity to maximize margins.
Prepare and present periodic MIS and performance reports for management review.
Operational CoordinationWork closely with logistics, finance, and accounts teams for seamless shipment execution.
Follow up on outstanding payments to maintain financial discipline.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of sales and purchase contracts as per agreed terms.
Leadership & TeamworkGuide and mentor junior marketing/trading staff.
Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, and high performance within the trading team.
