Head of Plant

Job Title: Head of Plant – Plastic Packaging Production
Department: Production / Operations
Employment Type: Full-time (Long-term)
Location: Uzbekistan – Main Production Facility

Responsible for leading and managing the complete operations of PET preform, closure, and shrink-film manufacturing units. Oversees production planning, shift scheduling, manpower deployment, quality control, maintenance coordination, and warehouse activities while ensuring efficiency, safety, and KPI achievements. Reports directly to senior management.

Manage end-to-end plant operations for PET preforms, closures, and shrink films.

Plan production, allocate manpower, and supervise daily shifts.

Improve production efficiency and reduce downtime.

Ensure quality standards, process compliance, and safety protocols.

Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Monitor raw material consumption, wastage control, and warehouse management.

Prepare operational reports and present to top management.

Ensure adherence to KPIs and operational discipline.

10–15 years in plastic packaging manufacturing.

Minimum 5 years in a senior plant management/leadership role.

Hands-on experience in PET injection, cap manufacturing, or extrusion/film lines.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering or similar.

MBA in Operations Management (preferred).

Additional training in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, ISO preferred.

Strong leadership & decision-making ability.

Excellent people management skills.

High operational discipline and problem-solving mindset.

Excellent verbal & written communication.

Ability to coordinate cross-functionally.
