Job Title: Sr. Engineer – Tender
Experience Required: 5 – 8 Years
Salary Budget: ₹45,000 – ₹75,000 per month
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Engineer – Tender to manage the complete tendering process, including technical and commercial bid preparation. The candidate will play a key role in analyzing tender documents, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely submission of competitive bids.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or contracts

• Strong knowledge of tendering and bidding processes
• Expertise in BOQ preparation and cost estimation
• Good negotiation and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation tools
• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Experience in construction / EPC / engineering projects
• Ability to handle multiple tenders simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Tender Management:

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications
• Identify discrepancies and prepare technical queries/clarifications
• Manage end-to-end tendering process from receipt to submission

Estimation & Costing:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
• Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing analysis
• Ensure accurate and competitive bid pricing

Bid Preparation:

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and deadlines

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination:

• Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors
• Evaluate and negotiate commercial terms
• Finalize vendor selection for tender submission

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain proper tender documentation and records
• Prepare reports and updates for management review
